Customer Service Helpdesk


t+  Medical is looking for an exceptional individual to join their Milton Park, Didcot Customer Service Team. The company is expanding fast, and this is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to grow with the company.

 t+  helps people manage their long term conditions such as diabetes and asthma. We remotely install software onto patients' mobile phones which they then use to provide health data to our nurse call centre. Our nurse team helps them to stay well and out of hospital.

This role includes:

  • explaining how the system works to patients over the phone

  • remotely loading our simple software onto their phone

  • resolving technical queries about the phone, such as GPRS connectivity and our software

  • liaising with the nursing team

  • liaising with the sales team

  • helping the team to learn and improve the way we work


You will not be involved in delivering healthcare to patients.

The successful candidate will be:

  • strongly customer focused

  • comfortable with technology

  • skilled in providing helpdesk support

  • a self starter

  • in possession of a full UK driving licence

  • able to start on 5 Jan 2009


Experience in customer service and an excellent telephone manner are essential requirements for this role, but a healthcare background is not.

Business Development Manager – Life Sciences

This position can be based anywhere in the US.  We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – Life Sciences for our t+ Clinical Business Unit.  t+ Clinical has revolutionized clinical trials by introducing the first mobile phone based ePRO solution.  We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who is successful in selling CRO software solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing revenue generating partnerships within the clinical trial market. Responsibilities:


Search, identify and secure new business opportunities within your assigned geography:

  • Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals and networking
  • Develop a robust sales pipe-line to secure quarterly and annual quota objective
  •  Develop business cases for new business opportunities
  • Qualify and timely close new revenue opportunities for t+ Clinical
  • Understand and interpret technical and business aspects of t+ Clinical and partner products into mutually beneficial revenue opportunities
  • Prioritize and focus on partnerships that will generate strong revenue results, contributing to the success of t+ Clinical's ability to achieve short term and long term revenue goals


Manage t+ Clinical's new and existing partners:

  • Negotiate commercial aspects of contracts to achieve closure on new business opportunities
  • Maintain, support and nurture relationships with potential business partners
  • Manage monthly review and forecasting with established partners
  • Secure long term customer value


Communicate effectively and appropriately in verbal and written form:

  • Update t+ Medical senior management on a regular basis
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of forecasted new business
  • Effectively and independently present to partners our company and products in the context of building a mutually beneficial business partnership
  • Ability to develop and articulate a compelling value proposition that will secure interest by both t+ Medical management and partner management
  • Develop and present compelling sales proposals


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years CRO or Life Sciences Business Development/Sales experience
  • Consistently meet or exceed quota targets
  • Proven track record of independently identifying, developing and securing revenue generating business relationships
  • Industry knowledge and well networked
  • Technology savvy
  • Ability to independently prepare and deliver client presentations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task
  • Experience with sales force automation tools and database solutions (SalesForce.com)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to develop and sell ideas and have the confidence to negotiate contracts with senior level management
  • Know when to cut bait and move on
  • No excuses and get it done attitude
